Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing containerized NetReveal applications using Kubernetes and Helm charts. This role involves working closely with the development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes, ensure scalability, and maintain the reliability of our applications.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement highly available and scalable applications using Kubernetes and Helm.
Develop and maintain Helm charts for package management and deployment of Kubernetes applications.
Build, manage, and optimize Docker containers for application deployment.
Write and maintain YAML and JSON configurations for defining Kubernetes resources and Helm templates.
Automate deployment processes and integrate Kubernetes and Helm into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions for applications in Kubernetes using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana Stack.
Ensure security best practices in container orchestration, including implementing role-based access control (RBAC) and securing Helm charts.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes deployments, networking, and application performance.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure application requirements are met and provide guidance on containerization and Kubernetes best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in container orchestration and continuously improve processes and tools.
Requirements:
Strong foundation in Kubernetes concepts, architecture, and operations.
Proficiency in Helm chart development and management.
Solid experience with Docker or similar container technologies.
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python for automation.
Knowledge of integrating Kubernetes and Helm into CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of networking concepts (such as services, ingress controllers, network policies) and troubleshooting.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and debugging in a Kubernetes environment.
Knowledge of cloud services (Azure, AWS) and their Kubernetes services (AKS, EKS) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to document processes and configurations.
