Job Description
Position: Engineer/Senior Engineer-Civil
Location: Pan India (Site Job)
Qualification: B.Tech in Civil Engineering/ Diploma in Civil Engineering
No of Posts- 3
Work Experience: 3-7 years of solar project execution work experience, including ground mount projects of 100 MWp+ capacities including work such as piling, foundations, fencing/boundary wall, T/L erection, RCC rooms, drainage, module cleaning system, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
- To understand and execute the drawings for RCC / Steel structures, pile foundations, roads, drainage, boundary wall, a pre-engineered building (PEB), control rooms, lateral / pullout tests, fencing, soak/ oil pits, and various equipment foundations. Able to prepare cost estimates and scope of work for I&C teams.
- Supervise and coordinate with client / consultant / engineering-team / contractors during various stages of project construction. Perform review meetings with stakeholders involved to deliver the works in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
- Monitoring and inspection of works in accordance with the IS Standards and BVG's Field Quality Plan / Checklists. Submission of Daily Progress Report internally / to-client.
- Review of the survey, contour map, and geotechnical investigation report. Coordinate with the engineering team communicating the relevant information / inputs for smooth design/execution. Provide feedback on the MMS / RCC designs keeping in mind the execution feasibility.
- Well-versed with the IS 456, IS 800, Schedule of Rates of Civil Material, and other relevant handbooks. Should be able to perform hand-calculations on-field for the associated works.
- Candidates with sound knowledge of AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, PVSyst, Helioscope, etc. solar-related software shall be provided preference.
- Candidate must have experience in the supervision of construction of T/L and switchyard - 11/33/66/132 kV
