Description:Skill Set: Python Developer with experience in Linux/Unix
Mandatory: Must have Aviation/Airline experience with Crew Management systems/projects (crew scheduling, rostering, tracking, recovery, or training management)
Work Location: Bangalore
Experience: 8 to 30 years
Requirements:
Product configuration and extension -
Configure and extend existing functionality, including business logic, data models, reporting, and user interface adaptations.
Integration design and implementation -
Design, build, and evolve integration points with internal systems as well as customer and third-party products.
DevOps and delivery enablement -
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release delivery to support reliable and repeatable deployments.
Client collaboration and requirements capture -
Work closely with client stakeholders to understand operational needs and business objectives, translating these into implementable requirements.
Quality-driven development -
Apply strong development practices, including automated test development and continuous validation, to ensure solution quality and maintainability.
Job Responsibilities:
Technical skills
Rave (Local functional development language)
Python (with software development and programming)
Gherkin & Behave (for elaborated tests structure)
XML (for data model definitions, layout configuration, misc. configuration and data integration)
Json (for advanced data integration)
CSV (for simple data integration)
Bash Scripting (for general automation scripts)
SQL (queries to the database)
Preferred qualifications
3+ years experience with software development and programming.
2+ years experience with Python.
2+ years experience effectively working in a Linux/Unix environment
Airline and specifically Crew and/or Operations planning experience
Understanding of AWS / Kubernetes
