Job Description
Senior Software Engineer- Java full stack Developer (Java and Angular)
Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.Mid-level Full Stack Java Developers will be hands-on contributors, responsible for implementing features across backend microservices and frontend user interfaces, enhancing existing modules, and ensuring overall solution quality within a microservices-based payments platform.The role requires strong backend expertise in Java, Spring, and Kafka, combined with practical experience in modern frontend frameworks and UI integration.
- Design and develop end-to-end product features spanning backend services and frontend applications
- Design and develop product modules or enhancements based on functional and technical requirementsImplement RESTful microservices using Spring / Spring Boot
- Develop and maintain Kafka-based messaging components
- Develop and enhance UI components using modern frontend frameworksIntegrate frontend applications with backend APIs
- Ensure adherence to non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability)Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code across backend and frontend layersParticipate in code reviews, defect fixing, and performance optimization
- Support production issues and maintenance activities
- Collaborate closely with senior developers, QA, UX, and DevOps teamsWork effectively in an Agile delivery model
Must-Have Skills:
- General / Functional Skills58 years of overall software development experience with Java / JavaEEStrong backend expertise in:Java fundamentals and object-oriented designSpring / Spring BootREST APIs and Web ServicesKafka and messaging conceptsSQL and relational databases
- Strong frontend development experience with:HTML5, CSS3, JavaScriptOne or more modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
- jsUI-to-API integration and asynchronous data handlingExperience with:Java multi-threading and concurrencyJPA / HibernateUnit testing using JUnit, Mockito
- Frontend testing basics (Jest, Karma, or equivalent)Version control systems (Git, SVN)Familiarity with:CI/CD pipelines and Agile practices
- Docker and Kubernetes (basic exposure)
Good-to-Have Skills:Exposure to payments or banking domainsExperience with Hazelcast or other caching technologiesKnowledge of Oracle PL/SQLUnderstanding of UML modelingExperience with API security (OAuth2, JWT)Familiarity with responsive design and accessibility standards
