Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Data Science Center of Excellence (COE). This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying advanced machine learning and statistical solutions to solve complex business problems across multiple domains.
You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and platform teams to deliver scalable, production-grade machine learning systems. The role requires strong expertise in Python, SQL, statistics, and machine learning, along with hands-on experience in model deployment, lifecycle management, and governance. Exposure to cloud platforms and emerging AI technologies is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop machine learning models and statistical solutions to address complex business problems.
- Perform data exploration, feature engineering, model development, and validation.
- Select appropriate algorithms, modeling techniques, and evaluation metrics.
- Develop reusable modeling frameworks and contribute to best practices within the Data Science CoE.
- Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python.
- Work with structured and unstructured data across enterprise data platforms.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data pipelines and feature stores.
- Deploy machine learning models into production using scalable architectures.
- Build APIs, batch pipelines, and real-time inference systems for model consumption.
- Implement model monitoring, versioning, retraining pipelines, and lifecycle management practices.
- Ensure compliance with model governance, auditability, and enterprise standards.
- Define end-to-end ML solution architectures including data pipelines, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists.
- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and present insights to stakeholders.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies in AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI frameworks.
- Identify opportunities to integrate LLMs and AI-driven automation into analytics solutions.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics
- Proven experience delivering production-grade machine learning solutions.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python.
- Strong SQL skills for complex data analysis and transformation.
- Experience with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and machine learning concepts.
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
- Strong understanding of model evaluation, validation, and feature engineering.
- Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices including model monitoring, versioning, and retraining.
- Experience building ML APIs or batch inference pipelines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
