Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Product Specialist with 5 to 8 years of experience specializing in Mendix to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model focusing on developing and enhancing applications in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Mendix applications to support business needs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide technical expertise in Mendix guiding the development team in best practices and innovative solutions.
- Oversee the application lifecycle from design and development to testing and deployment ensuring timely delivery.
- Ensure applications are scalable secure and optimized for performance adhering to industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues providing timely support to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and team performance.
- Stay updated with the latest Mendix features and industry trends integrating new technologies to improve application functionality.
- Document application processes configurations and changes maintaining comprehensive records for future reference.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Mentor junior developers sharing knowledge and promoting skill development within the team.
- Participate in project planning and estimation ensuring realistic timelines and resource allocation. Qualifications
- Possess strong technical skills in Mendix with a proven track record of successful application development.
- Have experience in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain understanding industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering effective and efficient solutions.
- Exhibit strong communication skills capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
