Job Description

Role & responsibilities

6+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Services (ADF, ADLS, Synapse, Azure SQL).
Expert-level proficiency in Databricks with Python and SQL.
Strong understanding of distributed computing, Spark optimization, and ETL/ELT design patterns.
Proven experience implementing Azure-based data architectures.
Proficiency in Power BI, data modeling, and designing optimized semantic layers.
Solid foundation in data governance, metadata management, data security, and compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

Azure certifications (e.g., DP-203, DP-500, Azure Solutions Architect).
Experience designing event-driven architectures using Kafka/Event Hub.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data workloads (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Knowledge of machine learning workflows and MLOps practices.
