Job Description

We are looking for an Healthcare Research and data analyst to join our LifeScience and Healthcare Products business group in Noida . This is an amazing opportunity to be a member of a talented and vibrant Biopharma Insights team. The team consists of about 100 colleagues. We have a great skill set in market research and assessment, analysis and insights and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in pharmaceutical market research.
About You: Experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
  • Masters or higher degree (PhD, MBA) and/or at least 2 years of experience in the biopharma, healthcare, or market research.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and objectively in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with co-workers and clients.
  • Experience with PowerPoint and Excel.
It would be great if you also had the following
  • Experience in working with complex data sets.
  • Familiarity with clinical research, drug development, and/or commercialization processes.
  • Experience in modeling and forecasting pharmaceutical markets.
  • Experience with key information resources (e.g., clinical trial and pipeline databases, sales/consumption data, physician audit databases).
  • Experience with real-world data (e.g., claims, EHR)
What will you be doing in this role
The role comprises three broad functions: 1) market research and insight generation; 2) project management and execution; and 3) client service. The Analyst will translate subject matter expertise and market research data into targeted insights for key decision-makers within the biopharmaceutical industry. Areas of coverage will span the teams diverse and intellectually stimulating research portfolio in oncology, immunology, endocrinology, nephrology, and other therapeutic areas.
  • Build and apply an understanding of biosimilar drug development and commercialization, including the dynamics in different therapy areas.
  • Critically analyze primary market research data and commercial information from several sources to evaluate market trends, assess opportunity, and build market forecasts.
  • Effectively and concisely communicate business insights through multiple formats (e.g., slide decks, live presentations).
  • Manage the execution of multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct primary research via interviews and surveys with medical and healthcare experts.
  • Field client queries and ad hoc requests with minimal supervision.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with clients; understand their needs and deliver solutions.
  • Show a strong grasp of complex commercial issues in communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Analysts in Understand business provide pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, financial services, and managed care companies with the analytics they need to compete and thrive in an increasingly competitive marketplace. Each year, these companies turn to us for their strategic planning, market development, technology management, and competitive intelligence requirements. Biopharma team of Understand Business is a team of business insights analysts who design, research, author, and present market research studies on different indications to help pharmaceutical companies make decisions about the development of new drugs and management of marketed products.
Hours of Work
40 hours in a week as an FTE (Monday - Friday)
