Job Description
Fortis Healthcare Ltd is looking for Incharge - ICU & Ward to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey- Patient Care Management : You are responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care within the ICU and ward. This involves overseeing patient assessments, monitoring patient conditions, and coordinating treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Staff Supervision and Management : You oversee the nursing staff, healthcare assistants, and other personnel working in the ICU and ward. This includes scheduling shifts, assigning duties, providing guidance and support, and conducting performance evaluations to ensure staff competency and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Resource Allocation and Utilization : You manage the allocation and utilization of resources within the ICU and ward, including medical supplies, equipment, and staffing resources. You ensure that resources are optimized to meet patient care needs while maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance : You monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and quality assurance protocols within the ICU and ward. This includes ensuring adherence to infection control practices, medication administration protocols, and patient safety guidelines.
- Emergency Response and Crisis Management : You are responsible for overseeing emergency response protocols and crisis management procedures within the ICU and ward. This involves coordinating with the healthcare team to address emergencies, stabilize patients, and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented in a timely manner.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration : You foster collaboration and communication among members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff. You facilitate interdisciplinary rounds, meetings, and care conferences to discuss patient care plans, address concerns, and optimize care coordination.
