Job Description

Technologies exposure Container Orchestration, Kubernetes, Docker, RedHat OpenShift, Application Containers, DevOps, Security, RHEL, coreOS, Ingress, DNS, Fork


1. Design, implement and administer Red Hat OpenShift Cluster, including installation, configuration, upgrades and patching.
2. Install operators for application team on Red Hat Openshift.
3. Install, configure, and manage OpenShift Container Platform clusters across multiple environments (on-premises and Azure cloud).
Expertise in Namespace Cluster design, service mesh, installation, configuration and running and supporting the environments; node management
4. Set up of Red Hat OpenShift Observability/Monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana and implement alerting mechanism.
5. Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, CRI-O) and orchestration platform Kubernetes is needed.
6. Hands-on experience with OPenShift CLI and Web console.
7. Perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades.
8. Monitor cluster health, resource utilization, and application performance.
9. Troubleshoot issues related to OpenShift, Kubernetes, and underlying infrastructure. Good level of Infrastructure understanding.
10. Implement and maintain security best practices for container platforms.
11. Manage role-based access control (RBAC) and user permissions.
12. Set-up and Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating OpenShift with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD).
Hands on Open Source tools EFK, Fuse, infra, logging, docker, crio, SDN, KAFKA, ETCD
13. Automate deployments and manage configurations using Helm, or similar tools.
14. Work with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of applications.
15. Collaborate with Infra team, Network team and storage team to ensure proper integration of OpenShift with the underlying infrastructure.
16. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
17. Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls) in a containerized environment.
18. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
19. Collaborate with client to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
20. Certification in RedHat OpenShift administration will have added advantage
