Job Description
About the Role
KL University, Bachupally Campus is seeking an experienced and dedicated General Physician to serve as the in-house medical consultant on a part-time basis. The doctor will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services, managing emergency situations, and guiding students and staff toward appropriate medical care when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily medical consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to students, faculty, and staff.
- Handle all medical emergencies on campus with prompt decision-making and appropriate first-response care.
- Guide patients toward proper medical care, including referrals to hospitals or specialists when necessary.
- Prescribe medications and advise relevant investigations based on clinical assessment.
- Monitor chronic cases and ensure necessary follow-ups.
- Supervise the campus nurse and oversee general medical room operations.
- Ensure proper upkeep of medical equipment, supplies, and emergency medicines.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Support campus health awareness activities and preventive healthcare programs.
Required Qualification:
MBBS from a recognised and accredited institution.
Minimum 5+ years of clinical experience in hospitals/clinics/corporate or institutional settings.
Valid State/National Medical Council Registration

Strong clinical judgment, emergency handling skills, and patient management capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
