Job Description
Experience - 3-8 yearsLocation - Hyderabad Description: Role purpose: Configure and customize Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC) UI and behaviors and implement supporting server-side logic using ITK where required, to deliver an upgrade-friendly and performant solution. Key responsibilities Configure AWC using preferences and OOTB capabilities (views, columns, object sets, commands, search, rendering rules).
Develop/extend AWC components (custom panels/widgets/commands/action handlers) aligned to UI standards.
Implement/extend backend logic using ITK (C/C++) such as exits, handlers, validations, custom utilities, and business rules needed by AWC flows.
Integrate AWC with Teamcenter services (SOA/REST) and coordinate end-to-end behavior across UI + server.
Troubleshoot AWC and server-side issues (logs, authorization/ACL effects, workflow behavior, performance).
Package, deploy, and document configurations/customizations, support regression testing and upgrade compatibility. Required skills Hands-on Teamcenter Active Workspace configuration/customization experience.
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals; HTML/CSS; browser-based debugging.
ITK development experience (C/C++), debugging, and familiarity with Teamcenter server extension patterns.
Solid Teamcenter concepts: items/revisions, properties, relations, workflows, forms, LOVs, preferences, security.
Experience/Qualifications
Typically, 4 8+ years Teamcenter; 2 4+ years in AWC customization.
Nice to have: BMIDE awareness, CI/CD exposure, performance optimization.
