Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chinese Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating written and verbal content between Chinese and English, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and contextual clarity. This role requires exceptional linguistic skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadlines.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Translate documents, presentations, emails, product content, and other materials from Chinese to English and English to Chinese.
- Ensure high-quality, accurate, and culturally appropriate translations.
- Review and proofread translated materials to maintain consistency in terminology and style.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, marketing, operations, and product teams) to understand translation requirements.
- Conduct linguistic research when necessary to maintain updated and accurate vocabulary.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
- Assist in live interpretation during meetings, calls, or events, if required.
- Manage multiple translation tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Translation, Linguistics, Chinese Language Studies, or related field.
- Proven experience as a ChineseEnglish Translator or similar role (minimum 13 years preferred).
- Native or near-native proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
- Strong grammatical, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Familiarity with translation tools (CAT tools like SDL Trados, MemoQ, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt tone and content for different audiences and industries.
