Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Tandoori Cook to join our team at Sodexo Food Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and experience working with tandoors.
Roles and Responsibility
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using tandoors, including pizzas, bread, and other food items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including the tandoor room.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Monitor and control the temperature of the tandoor to ensure optimal cooking conditions.
- Develop new recipes and menu ideas to keep culinary offerings fresh.
- Ensure all food is cooked to perfection and meets quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably with tandoors.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu planning.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including refrigeration and dish washing machines.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
