Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Driving the solutioning activities for infrastructure outsourcing opportunities which involve multiple service lines and / or technology domains (Public and Private Cloud, DWP, Service Management and Integration, Cybersecurity)
- Defining solution themes to fulfil the customer objectives; Focus on innovation and cost competitiveness if critical
- Technical Presales activities, client interactions to understand functional & cross-functional requirements and design solutions based on the requirements
- Designing and preparing technical proposals, effort estimation and transition and transformation plans
- Leading and mentoring Solution Architects and provide direct solution leadership for large and critical deals
- Collaborate with technical architects from practice, delivery teams, across other practices for solution completeness
- Deliver high-quality solutions to clients, both internal and external
Preferred candidate profile
- Ability to solution multiple towers across the CIS portfolio (Public and Private Cloud, DWP, Service Management)
- Core skill in one of the technology domains. At least 15-20 years in IT Infrastructure domain and 5-10 years in the role of Solution Architect
- Experience in leading 50-100M TCV deals
- Capability to articulate technical solutions to technical and non-technical audience
- Ability to collaborate with a team of Solution Architects, Technical SMEs, Delivery and Market teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to work effectively in high-pressure situations, create strong team spirit and can be relied upon to deliver, irrespective of circumstances
- Strong IT market awareness and knowledge or emerging trends and technologies
- Flexibility to travel at short notice
Preferred Capabilities/Skills/Years of Experience
- Deep knowledge and preferably certified on Enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF, ArchiMate etc. to design and application of methodologies while developing solutions and architecture
- Cloud Certifications would be considered as an added advantage
- Experience in winning large deals with 50-100M+ TCV
- Strong commercial modelling experience
Knowledge and awareness of industry price benchmarks
