Job Description Account Manager (B2B Sales)


Location- Bangalore


Purpose of the Role

The role holder will be responsible for driving sales and service delivery within the assigned territory for Data (Internet Bandwidth, MPLS, Cloud, etc.), Voice (Postpaid), Broadband, and Fixed Line business. The individual will act as the single point of contact for customers and manage end-to-end relationships from the company's side.


This is a 100% field sales role, requiring regular market visits and direct interaction with customers, especially SMEs (Small & Medium Enterprises) and corporate clients within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Achieve assigned sales targets for Data, Voice, and Fixed Line products.
  • Drive new account acquisition (hunting) in the SME / SMB segment.
  • Conduct regular field visits to Small & Medium Businesses to generate leads and close sales.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell multiple product lines to both existing and new customers.
  • Ensure Customer Market Share (CMS) and Revenue Market Share (RMS) growth in the territory.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales funnel across all three Lines of Business with defined maturity levels.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Negotiate and close orders/contracts to maximize revenue.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions as per client requirements.
  • Track competitor activities, offerings, and pricing to gather market intelligence.
  • Plan and execute sales interventions based on competition insights and client segments.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum Qualification: Any Graduate
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in B2B
  • Experience in field sales preferred
  • Comfortable with 100% on-ground sales role
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
