React+Node Developer @ Cognizant

Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience in Node JS and JavaScript for a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will contribute to developing innovative solutions in the online domain enhancing user experience and driving business growth. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in a day shift environment.

Develop and maintain scalable software applications using Node JS and JavaScript to meet business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance user experience. Ensure code quality and maintainability by conducting regular code reviews and adhering to best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure seamless application performance. Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design development testing and deployment. Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and implementing efficient algorithms. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software solutions. Contribute to the development of technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements. Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. Ensure timely delivery of projects by effectively managing time and resources in a hybrid work setting. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality software releases and address any defects or issues promptly. Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance technical skills and domain knowledge.
