Senior Technical Writer Principal Accountabilities
Own and produce complex documentation deliverables such as developer guides, regulatory compliance documents, and detailed design documentation.
Create and maintain API references, installation manuals, system architecture documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
Collaborate with engineering, QA, regulatory, and product teams to gather, verify, and translate complex technical content into clear documentation.
Mentor and support junior and mid-level writers by reviewing and editing their content.
Contribute to the development and enforcement of documentation best practices, templates, and style guides.
Ensure documentation aligns with product lifecycles, quality standards, and release timelines.
Manage multiple documentation projects and deliverables with minimal oversight.
Prepare content for localization and coordinate with localization teams.
Lead documentation efforts for complex product areas and mentor team members by utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate expertise in documentation tools (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, XML-based authoring) and holds strong understanding of IoT fundamentals, device security, and product lifecycles in executing projects. Job Complexity
