Job Description

Role- Data Engineer (Senior Data Developer Scala, Spark)

Experience 6-9 yrs

work mode: Hybrid | Shift Timeing : 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Location - Gurugram

Key Responsibilities

• Development of data platforms, integration frameworks, processes, and code.
• Develop and deliver APIs in Scala for Business Intelligence applications built using modern web technologies.
• Work in a collaborative Agile environment (SCRUM / Kanban) to elaborate and deliver development stories.
• Handle and process large-scale data volumes efficiently.
• Design and implement REST-based services.
• Work with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Required Skills & Development Practices

• Strong experience with Scala and Apache Spark.
• Experience with large-scale data engineering solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices including:
• Iterative Development
• Refactoring
• Unit Testing
• Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Acceptance Test Driven Development
• Understanding of formal testing and deployment methodologies.
