Job Description
Role & responsibilities:
Sr. Designer / Principal Designer - Civil & Structural
Qualifications / Skills:
- Diploma in Engineering with at least 7 - 20 years (or ITI with minimum 15 - 20 years) of relevant industry experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- 3D modelling of Under Ground (UG) Networks (Foundation, Piping, Drains, Trenches, etc)
- 3D Modelling of all Underground Facilities in S3D
- Extraction of 2D Installation Drawings from 3D model including clash checking
- Extraction of UG Piping ISOs
- Incorporation of inter discipline comments and client comments
- Coordination with other engineering disciplines for clash resolution/technical issues
- Participation in Model Reviews / Material take-offs / To ensure clash free models.
- Adhere to Corporate QHSE policy.
- Managing EPCM project with Team of 5 to 15 Designers as Area Lead
- Managing PMC projects as Area Lead
- Managing/Review of EPC contractors UG and General Civil Drawings
- Managing Site activities related to UG and General Civil Drawings.
- Issue of UG/Civil Works Installation drawings with required quality as per project schedules.
Requirements:
- Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Fertilizer industries is preferred
- Experience in 2D drawings ( Autocad etc.,) / Experience in 3D Modeling ( S3D )
- Experience in extraction of 2D drawings from 3D models.
- Shall be well versed with Indian and International codes (American, British, Euro codes preferred)
- Experience in Building drawings, Concrete Detailing, Architectural drawings preferred.
Sr Engineer/Lead Engineer - Offshore Structures (Civil)
Qualifications / Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with 6-15 years of relevant industry experience or Masters Degree in Engineering (M.E./M.Tech Structures).
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Planning resources and Managing Team of Offshore structural Engineers working in project
- Analysis and design of steel structures (Topside modules) in SACS
- Preparation of detailed calculation reports & Checking of drawings and documents.
- Coordination with other engineering disciplines for inputs and technical issues
- Participates in Model Reviews and other project related workshops.
- Review of Subcontractors/ Vendor documents for technical compliance.
- Prepares quantity take offs/Weight control
- Support to filed engineering & Trouble shooting.
- Adhere to Corporate QHSE policy.
Main Tasks:
- Design of steel structures ((Deck / Topside modules, Pipe rack , Equipment supports, platforms, connection deign, pipe supports etc.,)
- Issue of deliverables with required quality as per project schedules.
- Providing inputs to drafting team and guiding them in preparing design drawings
- Follow up of inter discipline comments and their resolution including clash resolution.
- Clarifications/solutions to site queries/issues.
- Weight control management
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with 6-15years of relevant industry experience. Masters Degree in Engineering (M.E./M.Tech - structures) preferred.
- Experience in Oil & Gas / Shall be well versed with Indian and International codes
- Shall be familiar with Analysis and Design software SACS
- Good experience in Transportation (Land/Sea) , Lifting, and handling analysis and studies.
