Job Title: Azure DevOps Lead / Architect
Experience: 12 - 17 Years
Location: Bangalore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Lead / Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable DevOps practices and cloud-native infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will drive DevOps transformation, establish CI/CD best practices, and lead automation initiatives to enhance reliability, security, and deployment efficiency across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end DevOps architecture for cloud-native and hybrid applications on Azure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Lead the automation of infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Architect and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and other observability tools.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance in DevOps pipelines and cloud environments.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability through automation and best practices.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to streamline release processes.
- Mentor DevOps engineers and establish DevOps standards, governance, and best practices across projects.
- Implement DevSecOps practices including automated security scans and vulnerability management.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in DevOps and cloud architecture.
- Deep experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts).
- Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
- Experience with source control systems like Git.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices and cloud security.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native application design.
- Experience implementing site reliability engineering (SRE) practices.
- Azure certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly preferred.
