Titan, a leading company in the jewellery industry, is seeking a talented and creative Designer to join our Design Excellence Centre in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As a Designer for our Jewellery department, you will be responsible for creating innovative and high-quality designs that align with our brand's vision and aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design new jewellery collections that meet market trends and customer demands
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and sales to ensure designs are aligned with business objectives
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, materials, and techniques to incorporate into designs
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for production
- Work closely with manufacturers to ensure designs are produced accurately and within budget
- Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Ensure all designs meet quality standards and are in line with brand guidelines
- Stay updated on industry developments and continuously improve design skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Jewellery Design or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in jewellery design, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design styles and techniques
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and CAD software
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of jewellery production processes and materials
- Passion for jewellery and a strong eye for detail
- Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and developments

Work Experience
- Graduate / Post Graduate from NIFT/NID or relevant Institutes. 3-4 Year experience in the areas of jewellery Design, Manufacturing & New product development Should know the required designing skills/softwares to translate concepts to final designs. Prior experience in customized designing is preferable Should be willing for outstation travel for work. Should be inquisitive and be willing to learn Should take ownership of tasks/projects assigned Drive for Results: Hands on approach, to be proactive. Interpersonal Effectiveness: Understands the business requirements, has long term perspective, involves and engages others, respects value of individual contribution of various stakeholders including vendor partners.
- Customer Focus: Able to anticipate customer needs for existing and potential customers. Analytical mindset: Ability to synthesizing knowledge from various sources, and constantly updates the knowledge base Dealing with Ambiguity: Should be able to handle situations where clarity of work is in question. Team player: The most important attribute in the person to be a part of the team that is close knit & open to welcoming new team members
