Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at a prestigious Jewellery store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Jewellery retail sales, Pleasant personality and excellent communication skills. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our products, and achieving sales targets.
Role & responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to the store.
- Assist customers in finding the perfect jewellery pieces based on their preferences and needs.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge and educate customers on the quality, craftsmanship, and uniqueness of our jewellery collection.
- Offer styling suggestions and guidance to customers, ensuring they have a memorable shopping experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and address any issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring all jewellery displays are visually appealing.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card payments, securing products by preventing theft and issuing receipts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new product launches, and competitor offerings.
- Participate in store promotional events, sales campaigns, and initiatives to drive customer engagement and sales growth.
Preferred candidate profile
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in the jewellery industry.
- Strong knowledge and passion for jewellery and gemstones.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
