Job Description
- Lead installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment at substations and industrial sites
- Perform FAT/SAT and system integration
- Configure hardware, software, and network components
- Ensure timely and safe project completion
- Conduct testing of:
- Transformers
- Switchgear
- Circuit breakers
- Motors/Generators
- GIS systems
- Cables
- Diagnose faults and perform root cause analysis
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
- Provide on-site and remote technical support
- Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance
- Handle escalations and critical breakdowns
- Ensure high customer satisfaction
- Lead and mentor junior field engineers
- Plan site schedules and allocate resources
- Ensure safety and quality compliance
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Act as single point of accountability at site
- Prepare commissioning reports and service logs
- Interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals
- Maintain project and maintenance records
- 610 years experience in Electrical Substations/GIS/Power/Industrial projects
- Strong exposure to testing & commissioning
- Hands-on troubleshooting capability
- Knowledge of protection systems and electrical equipment
- Ability to read schematics and GA drawings
- Willingness for extensive travel
- B.E./B.Tech Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or equivalent
- Utility/Power plant experience
- Customer training experience
- International site exposure

Role Overview
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer Lead to manage end-to-end installation, testing, commissioning, and customer support for our electrical monitoring and protection systems deployed across substations and industrial environments.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will own site execution, lead field teams, resolve critical issues, and ensure successful project delivery.
You will act as the primary technical point of contact for customers at site.
