Job Description
- A room attendant ensures guest comfort and satisfaction by cleaning and maintaining hotel rooms to high sanitary standards. Key duties include changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking amenities. They must also report maintenance issues, adhere to safety procedures, and provide friendly customer service. Core Responsibilities
- Cleaning & Sanitizing: Thoroughly clean guest bathrooms, mop floors, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and polish surfaces.
- Room Setup: Change bed linens, replace towels, and make beds to hotel standards.
- Restocking: Replenish guest supplies such as soap, shampoo, coffee, and minibar items.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report broken items, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Guest Service: Maintain a professional demeanor, answer guest questions, and handle requests promptly.
- Safety & Security: Follow all health, safety, and hygiene rules, including using cleaning chemicals safely.
