Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Odoo Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing Odoo-based ERP solutions.
The ideal candidate should have deep technical expertise in Odoo architecture, Python development, and ERP module customization, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient business solutions.
The candidate will be responsible for developing new modules, customizing existing ones, integrating third-party systems, and ensuring high-quality performance across the Odoo ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize Odoo ERP modules including Freight, MRP, Website, eCommerce, Sales, Purchase, POS, Inventory, and Accounting.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
- Develop custom modules, workflows, and automation within the Odoo framework.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party systems, APIs, and external platforms.
- Perform Odoo version upgrades and migrations (e.g., V8, V10, V12, V14+).
- Optimize database queries and system performance using PostgreSQL.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following Odoo development best practices.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the Odoo platform.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Ensure documentation of development processes and implemented solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Odoo development.
- Strong knowledge of Odoo framework, ORM, and architecture.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS.
- Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
- Strong experience in custom module development and Odoo customization.
- Experience with Odoo API integrations and external system integrations.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and server deployment.
- Understanding of Odoo security, access rights, and record rules.
- Strong knowledge of Git version control.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work in Agile development environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Odoo Community and Enterprise editions.
- Odoo certification is a plus.
- Experience with Odoo.sh deployment.
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with international clients and distributed teams.
- Knowledge of project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
