Job Description
JD:
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with architects and accounts to analyze the data / ETL testing requirements and define overall solution and strategy
- Perform analysis of existing BI Dashboard reports and end-to-end Testing experience
- Work with various accounts and practice team members to identify new opportunities and provide client specific solutions
- Conduct account mining, presales activities
- Identify partner led solutions, GenAI based solutions and create new offerings for data/ ETL testing
- Define test data management solution for the projects
- Provide data/ ETL testing advisory by analyzing existing reqs, evn, test data setup, gaps, tools landscape and define overall testing strategy
Educational Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree : BE/BCS (Computers/Electronics and Telecommunication)
- Technical certifications in multiple technologies are desirable
Skills:
Mandatory Technical skills
- Should have end-to-end data-warehousing project experience along with good knowledge of warehousing concepts
- Must have strong knowledge of database concepts such as PL/SQL skills and queries, and stored procedures
- Should have hands-on experience in ETL languages and large data sets
- Must be skilled in validation of data sources, extraction of data, applying transformation logic, and loading data into target tables, and also working closely with data engineering functions to ensure a robust test strategy
- Should be able to implement, leverage, and build test data management solutions
- Must have experience in creating test cases and test scripts for data lake/warehouse/mart testing, including data completeness testing, boundary testing, data validation based on data models, and using source-to-target mapping documents, validation of transformations, and slowly changing dimensional data
- Should have strong experience in test case identification, writing, execution, defect management, test data identification and creation, performance testing, and system testing
- Must have skills in automation BI report dashboard testing
- Should have knowledge of automation frameworks, and automation of ETL and DB Testing (Python, Spark, Scala)
- Should have experience in industry standard ETL testing tools such as QuerySurge, Informatica
- Must be able to assess, identify gaps, provide recommendations on automation solutions and QA processes
- Should have experience in Agile methodologies
- Must have good understanding of quality assurance and manual testing concepts
- Should have hands-on experience in BI reporting tools and testing concepts
- Must have good communication skills
- Should have proficiency in test scenario writing
- Must have testing experience in Relational/Hadoop/Cloud /NoSQL databases
- Should have good understanding of jobs and scheduling and DevOps process knowledge
Good to have skills:
- Strong knowledge of healthcare domain will be an added advantage
- API Testing knowledge and experience is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Data Ops will be preferred
