Role & responsibilities
Managing and supervising all activities within the ICU, ensuring optimal patient care is delivered at all times.
- Coordinating the care of critically ill patients, developing treatment plans in conjunction with medical staff, and monitoring patient progress.
- Leading and mentoring the nursing staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies related to patient care and safety.
- Ensuring effective communication with patients families regarding treatment progress and care plans
Preferred candidate profile
A degree in nursing with a specialization in critical care and valid registration with the nursing council.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate the ICU team.
- Extensive knowledge of critical care protocols, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills to respond to rapid changes in patient conditions.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies in a calm and efficient manner.
