Job Description
Scheduled Walk-in Drive (Wednesday / Thursday / Friday | In-office)
Please note: This is not open to all candidates.
Only candidates with a confirmed schedule and shortlisting will be permitted to attend the drive and interview.
We are looking for a senior, hands-on Integration Specialist to drive complex system integrations across FLX ONE Cargo, existing Cargo platforms, airline systems, and external partners.
This role plays a critical part in enabling safe migration, coexistence, and interoperability between modern cloud-native services and legacy systemswithout disrupting ongoing operations. You will focus on integration correctness, reliability, scalability, and backward compatibility, working closely with architects and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities -
Integration Architecture & Execution
- Design and implement integration services, adapters, and facades between FLX ONE Cargo and existing Cargo solutions
- Build and manage API-based, event-driven, and message-based integrations with airline systems and external partners
- Ensure stable, versioned, and backward-compatible integration contracts
Migration & Coexistence Enablement
- Implement coexistence patterns such as strangler facades, parallel-run pipelines, and event replication
- Support phased rollouts and cutover strategies with strong observability and rollback mechanisms
- Minimise operational and business risk during legacy-to-modern platform transitions
Hands-on Engineering
- Develop and maintain production-grade integration code and shared services using Node.js, Java, and cloud-native technologies
- Debug complex cross-system issues related to data consistency, latency, message failures, and retries
- Support incident investigation and resolution for integration-related production issues
Cloud, AWS & AI Exposure
- Build and operate integrations on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms
- Leverage AI-enabled capabilities where applicable (intelligent routing, automation, analytics, or monitoring support)
- Ensure integrations are scalable, secure, and cloud-optimised
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Principal Architect to refine integration, migration, and coexistence patterns
- Partner with delivery teams to onboard services onto standard integration frameworks
- Provide integration best practices and technical guidance across engineering teams
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong background in integration-heavy, distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and/or Java
- Strong experience building REST APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architectures
- Solid AWS / cloud-native development experience
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across multi-system workflows
- Exposure to or working knowledge of AI-driven systems or intelligent integrations
Good to Have
- Experience with legacy-to-modern migration programs
- Familiarity with airline, cargo, logistics, or finance systems
- Experience with message brokers, streaming platforms, or workflow orchestration tools
