Job Description

RK Gems is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Jewellery CAD Designer to join our design and production team in Sachin, Surat. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in jewellery CAD software and a deep understanding of diamond and gold jewellery manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Create accurate and innovative jewellery designs using CAD software (Rhino, Matrix, or similar).

Develop CAD models for rings, earrings, pendants, bangles, and other jewellery pieces as per client or internal design briefs.

Prepare designs suitable for casting and production, ensuring manufacturability.

Work closely with the design, production, and merchandising teams to finalize designs.

Modify and optimize existing designs based on feedback or cost considerations.

Ensure proper stone setting, weight control, and metal optimization in designs.

Maintain design files, technical drawings, and version control.

Requirements & Qualifications

Proficiency in , Matrix, J, or similar CAD software.

Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes, stone setting, and casting.

Good understanding of diamonds, gemstones, gold weights, and production limitations.

High attention to detail and creativity.

Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple designs simultaneously
