Job Description
- Implementation & Configuration:
- Lead end-to-end SAP SD module implementations and upgrades.
- Configure core SD components: order-to-cash (O2C), pricing, billing, shipping, and transportation.
- Customize SAP SD to meet specific business needs.
- Business Analysis & Solution Design:
- Analyze business processes and translate them into SAP SD functionalities.
- Conduct gap analysis and propose optimized solutions.
- Map business processes to SAP SD features.
- Integration & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other SAP modules (MM, PP, FICO) for seamless integration.
- Support third-party integrations (e.g., EDI, IDOC).
- Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide post-implementation support and resolve SD-related issues.
- Monitor system performance and ensure SLA compliance.
- Documentation & Training:
- Prepare functional specs, configuration documents, and user manuals.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for users and junior consultants.
- Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.
- Heorshe is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.
- Hisorher work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
- The software engineer builds skills and expertise of hisorher software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.
- The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
- Experience:
- 8-18 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD implementation and support.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA SD functionalities.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in O2C process, pricing procedures, tax setups, and intercompany processes.
- Familiarity with ABAP debugging and integration tools (EDI, IDOC).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Education & Certification:
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
SAP SD certification preferred.
