Role : Sailpoint Developer
Experience : 6-12
Location: Mumbai , Bangalore
SailPoint Developer with strong expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) implementation, configuration, and customization. The ideal candidate will have handson experience onboarding applications, developing custom connectors, building workflows, and supporting endtoend Identity & Access Management (IAM) lifecycle initiatives.
You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams, lead technical integrations, support upgrades, and work directly with clients to ensure seamless identity governance processes.
Required Skill Set
Technical Skills
- Strong programming experience in Java, BeanShell, JDBC, XML, and Web Services.
- Excellent knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ Fundamentals, including:
- Installation & Configuration
- Application Onboarding
- Entitlement Catalog
- Roles, Reports, and Rules
- Aggregation, Refresh, and Maintenance Tasks
- Expertise in SailPoint Provisioning concepts:
- Provisioning Object Model
- Custom Connectors
- Connector/Integration Architecture
- Workflows, Dashboard, QuickLinks
- Workitems, Approvals
- Lifecycle Manager (LCM) Configuration, Events, Workflows
- Strong experience in UNIX/Linux and scripting (Shell, Perl, Python).
- Strong database knowledge: SQL, MySQL, Oracle.
- Solid understanding of the Identity & Access Management Lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
SailPoint Development & Configuration
- Develop workflows, custom connectors, rules, and configurations in SailPoint IIQ.
- Configure roles, policies, certifications, and access review processes.
- Customize SailPoint IIQ UI and generate standard or custom reports.
- Lead overall SailPoint IIQ product configuration and implementation activities.
- Perform installation and configuration in both standalone and clustered environments.
Application Onboarding & Integration
- Onboard applications into SailPoint IIQ using various connectors.
- Integrate enterprise applications and custom systems with SailPoint IIQ.
- Experience integrating HR systems and Active Directory with SailPoint IIQ.
- Ensure full technical integration of onboarding workflows and provisioning processes.
Solution Delivery & Client Engagement
- Assist offshore teams in development, requirement analysis, solution design, and implementation.
- Work with operations and customer stakeholders to identify applications for onboarding.
- Upgrade and enhance SailPoint IIQ systems during new releases, patches, and enhancements.
- Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met with minimal product-level customization.
- Act as a technical lead, providing guidance and support throughout implementation.
- Support endtoend operational processes and contribute to IAM governance maturity.
Client-Facing & Coordination
- Engage with international clients and manage technical relationships effectively.
- Play a lead role in client discussions, workshops, and requirement gathering.
- Provide superior problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 23 SailPoint IIQ implementations completed.
- Deep understanding of SailPoint IIQ architecture and components.
- Experience installing and configuring SailPoint IIQ in standalone and clustered environments.
- Experience in SailPoint IdentityNow is an added advantage.
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with international clients (preferred).
- Strong client relationship management experience.
