Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
A skilled SQL Developer responsible for designing, managing and optimizing relational databases to ensure high availability and efficiency. This role requires collaboration with Business stakeholders, partner developers, data analysts and Database administrators to build and maintain robust data solutions that supports business needs across applications.
A. KEY Position Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery and Execution
- Timely delivery of projects and tasks assigned
Quality and Compliance
- Documentation accuracy rate -Target: 98% of project documentation error-free and aligned with Banks templates/standards.
- Regulatory compliance adherence
Target: 100% of projects compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., RBI/RAR)
Communication and Coordination
- Stakeholder update timeliness on any requirement or projects been assigned
B. Qualifications and Experience Requirement
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science or related field, MCA or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in database management within the BFSI.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MS SQL or Oracle
- Ability to write complex, efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and triggers and analyze existing queries for performance improvements
- Experience with query optimization, performance tuning and indexing
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement reporting and data flow related requirements
- Experience in Data Management such as archival strategies
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
