Position: Finance Lead -APAC shared services
Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai
Work Persona-Hybrid
Position Summary
The Team lead APAC Shared Services Centre managing the 11-member team for APAC countries. The team lead would report to Regional Controller APAC and provide support to the country controllers for processes like General Ledger, Inventory & Revenue, Payroll and Accounts payable. The role is very critical for accurately reporting the results of APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely books and month-end activities in line with internal standards close for multiple countries in APAC region.
- Oversee the Balance sheet reconciliations process for ensuring all items are closed timely
- Participate in group reporting and consolidation processes
- Driving statutory audits through the teams to support country controllers by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Providing guidance to the teams on systems and processes.
- Work with IT teams for any incidents that require IT intervention.
- Analyse the impact of Fx , OIE Movement and other control accounts by country
- Review and report all the monthly, quarterly and annual corporate submissions
- Prepare various reports and analysis as requested by senior management
- Handle ad-hoc operational and administrative queries
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively contribute to process excellence initiatives
Financial Reporting & Controls
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for inventory, deferred revenue, and related accounts.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
- Support internal and external audits, providing schedules, documentation, and explanations.
Qualifications
- Post graduation in Finance and Accounting or Chartered Accountant.
- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in accounting, ideally with exposure to GL accounting. inventory, cost accounting, or revenue processes.
- Strong understanding of the subsystems
- Ability to analyse and dig deep to find the correct answers
- Experience with ERP systems is must, preferably Oracle - Fusion
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Very good level of written and spoken English (knowledge of any other language will be an advantage)
