Job Description
- Design, build and operate highly available, scalable cloud-native systems using Java , Golang and AWS cloud services
- Work with Product Owners and other stakeholders along with the team members to design and document new Pega Cloud features
- Design and execute unit, integration, and API tests
- Leverage DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to enable automated operations of our services
- Assist our operations team with sophisticated operations along the entire service lifecycle
- Bachelor's/masters degree in computer science (or related experience/field) and 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong proficiency in Java, with handson experience building and maintaining microservices, Experience with Go (Golang) is a strong plus
- Solid experience with public cloud platforms ( AWS / GCP / Azure ), Expected knowledge equivalent to AWS Solutions Architect Associate level
- Good understanding of Kubernetes and containerized workloads, CKAD or similar certification is a plus
- Handson experience with Docker and Kubernetes primitives (Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, etc.)
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, using one or more of: Terraform, Helm, or AWS CloudFormation
- Working knowledge of cloud storage and data transfer services, such as: AWS S3, SFTP, and related managed services
- Basic networking fundamentals, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, routing, DNS, and load balancing
- You are a passionate developer with sufficient experience to drive chunks of work to completion solely.
- You have collaborated with various stakeholders to drive a certain goal forward from scratch. This includes design agreement, execution and adoption of feature.
- You understand the basis of DevOps culture, and you want to grow yourself to be a technically versatile person.
- You want to have an impact and help us with our Pega Cloud "as-a-Service" evolution.
