Design, build and operate highly available, scalable cloud-native systems using Java , Golang and AWS cloud services
Work with Product Owners and other stakeholders along with the team members to design and document new Pega Cloud features
Design and execute unit, integration, and API tests
Leverage DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to enable automated operations of our services
Assist our operations team with sophisticated operations along the entire service lifecycle
Who You Are:
Bachelor's/masters degree in computer science (or related experience/field) and 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience
Strong proficiency in Java, with handson experience building and maintaining microservices, Experience with Go (Golang) is a strong plus
Solid experience with public cloud platforms ( AWS / GCP / Azure ), Expected knowledge equivalent to AWS Solutions Architect Associate level
Good understanding of Kubernetes and containerized workloads, CKAD or similar certification is a plus
Handson experience with Docker and Kubernetes primitives (Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, etc.)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, using one or more of: Terraform, Helm, or AWS CloudFormation
Working knowledge of cloud storage and data transfer services, such as: AWS S3, SFTP, and related managed services
Basic networking fundamentals, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, routing, DNS, and load balancing
