Job Summary

We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect to define and own the overall SFMC architecture strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration with enterprise systems. The role involves designing enterprise-level data models, integration frameworks, and cross-channel journey architecture while governing best practices and platform roadmap.


Qualifications

B.Tech, BE, MCA, M.Tech, MBA with Technical Specialization.


Required Skills

  • 7+ years of hands-on SFMC (ExactTarget) experience
  • Expert-level knowledge across Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Email & Mobile Studio
  • Strong expertise in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs
  • Deep understanding of data architecture, identity resolution, and Customer 360 strategy
  • Experience with complex integrations (CRM, CDP, Data Warehouses, Middleware like MuleSoft)
  • Experience in multi-BU, multi-brand SFMC implementations
  • Knowledge of GDPR, consent management, and data governance
  • Experience with CI/CD, version control, and release management
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture
  • Own end-to-end architectural documentation, technical blueprints, integration design, and platform governance standards.
  • Own strategic client reporting and executive presentations, articulating marketing ROI, customer lifecycle growth, data-driven growth insights and long-term digital transformation roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define SFMC enterprise architecture and solution blueprint
  • Design scalable data models, integration frameworks, and cross-channel journey architecture
  • Define API and event-driven integration strategy
  • Lead architecture reviews, governance, and technical design approvals
  • Ensure security, compliance, and data governance best practices
  • Establish DevOps, deployment, and performance optimization standards
  • Guide Leads and Consultants on platform best practices
  • Drive SFMC platform roadmap, innovation, and scalability initiatives

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Marketing Cloud Consultant
  • Marketing Cloud Developer
  • Salesforce Technical Architect (CTA) Good to have
