Job Description
This role is within the ISV team in Amazon Web Services India (AWS India) and can be based out of Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad locations. As a Solutions Architect, you ll help your customers plan their successful cloud journey leveraging emerging technologies like GenAI to achieve business outcomes. You ll solve complex, technical challenges so your customers can focus on their business. This includes using your knowledge to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures. You ll drive or take part in technical solutions discussions, diving deep into the details with customer teams. Building relationships to understand our customers and partners is key. As a trusted technical advisor, you ll use your interpersonal skills to influence a variety of stakeholders from technical teams to executives. You ll help ensure their short-term technology decisions are aligned with their long-term goals. Speeding up the adoption of our services will be part of your day to day. You ll also act as thought leader in the wider community. This includes taking part in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops. You won t just be part of an industry movement; you ll be leading it. As a customer obsessed advisor, you ll also have the chance to shape the direction of our products and services. This is through gathering feedback from customers whilst collaborating with our engineering and service teams. The Solutions Architect team at AWS is responsible for helping customers successfully implement cloud technologies. In a typical week you will meet multiple customers, and you will collaborate with them on designing and operating well-architected solutions. You will earn their trust and show them the art of the possible, educating them around the capabilities of AWS. Partnering with internal teams and experts, leveraging a deep knowledge of our tools and products, you ll craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address our customers business problems. ISV Solutions Architects work hand in hand with AWS customers to help drive AWS services adoption. They are at the crossroads of business and technology and engage with customers of different stages. Supporting the overall technical relationship between customers and AWS, they work to understand the customers business needs and give prescriptive guidance on how to create business value with technology. Solutions Architects also have broader impact at scale, taking a supporting role in creating and presenting technical content and best practices. You will be part of a team that is responsible for driving adoption of AWS technologies while bringing differentiated value to customers. This is a team dedicated to ISV customers, an important and growing subset of customers for AWS India. ISV customers follow unique technology adoption patterns and growth trajectories that distinguish them from traditional businesses, so you will be employing engagement strategies and programs tailored to their business needs and technical preferences.

Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics). Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems, or experience in computer architecture
Background in any other following or related to Technology Architect, Consultant, Cloud Architect, Technical Lead, Engineering Lead, Systems Engineer etc.
Have worked on design, development, implementation, or consulting applications / platforms in their prior experience
Can create proof of concepts, demos, and/or scripts from scratch or leveraging reusable components.
Able to create technical content that is easily adopted and reusable by others.
Fluent communication skills. Knowledge of AWS services
Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions and/or applications to the cloud
One or more AWS certifications, e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Professional
4 years experience as a Solution Architect or related role.
