Customer Engineering Lead - Mumbai - Nokia

• Aspart of the ION Customer Engineering Lead in INDIA organization, the purpose ofthis role is to actively contribute to the following tasks across the INDIAregion.
• Contributeto Quality Product Testing for new pre-DR4 products and to Common ValidationTesting of a brand-new post DR4 products and releases
• CELead to review the Product qualifications and demonstrate the features of newproducts to ensure customer understands the strengths of the NokiaION-Optics Portfolio.
• Provideguidance team to perform Customer Benchmark Testing to ensure Nokiaproducts are accepted as a technical valid solution and qualify for Bids andsuport team to prepare Customer Acceptance Testing of newly introduced productsas part of the project team.
• Reviewthe prepared demonstration scenarios and test plans to meet the customerrequirements and ensure the product is shown in the best possible way.
• Aslead responsible to review the designs, analyses, plans, and modifiesnetwork components supporting customer communication implementationactivities.
• Supportand guide team to develops and evaluates network performance criteria andmeasurement methods.
• Conductsnetwork architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Developsalternative routing scenarios and changes in required sequence of networkactivities.
• Conductseconomic and population growth studies to determine impact on network capacityand development plan projections. Performs the end-to-end design activities(including surveys, design itself, and as-built) required for a physicalnetwork deployment.

Roles& Responsibilities: -

• Workwith ION presales, project management and customer technical project managersto address both resource plans and project requirements
• Actas the primary interface into the relevant teams ION Service Business Unit(SBU), Remote Engineering Delivery (RD) and the Central New ProductIntroduction (cNPI).
• Touse and manage the team at optimum levels of productivity and utilisation andto ensure all other ION resource pools have been fundamentally checked beforeexternal expenditure is sought
• Takeresponsibility for definition and execution of demos, proof of concept, typeapprovals tests, field trials, and in general any New Product Introduction(NPI) activity with our customer for any new product or solution
• Beaccountable from definition to validation / acceptance by the customer -working with mature elements of our portfolio
• Takeresponsibility and accountability for generic test plans for customer labevaluations
• Create,reviews and approves Methods of Procedures prior to implementation
• Beresponsible for supporting major initial network deployments across the INDIAregion
• Develop,verify and document upgrade procedures in customer s networks
• Maintainlab equipment for customer demos, investigations, validation tests etc.
• TrainCustomer Delivery members on new products/features
• Theposition requires strong technical skills in one or more of the following areas
• Providescustomer-facing communication regarding operational, technical and qualityissues. Makes timely recommendations to customer.
  Provides analysis of product release notes and alerts to the customer.
• Providestechnical guidance for upgrades / retrofits. Supports team in technical aspectsof outage management.
• Maintainsinformation about customer network in relevant databases.
