POSITION - TANDOORI COMMIS CHEF
Role & responsibilities
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a tandoor section (in a restaurant or hotel).
Culinary diploma or relevant food production certification preferred.
Knowledge of handling tandoor equipment (clay oven, skewers, etc.).
Ability to prepare naan, roti, kulcha, and tandoori items like chicken, fish, kebabs.
Preparing marinades and maintaining mise en place.
Understanding of traditional tandoori cooking times and temperatures.
Trained in food safety, kitchen hygiene standards and cross contamination.
Team player with good communication skills.
Physically fit (working with tandoors can be demanding).
