Deputy General Manager Maintenance @ Polymed

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead site Engineering, Utilities, Maintenance, HVAC, MEP, and facility operations for OSD, Oral Liquid, Ophthalmic, and Injectable plants
  
• Plan, execute, and monitor Greenfield & Brownfield projects including installation, commissioning, FAT, SAT, DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ
  
• Drive preventive and breakdown maintenance strategies to improve OEE, MTTR, and MTBF using SAP PM
  
• Ensure compliance with GMP, cGMP, USFDA, WHO, MHRA, and safety & statutory regulations
  
• Manage utilities including HT/LT electrical systems, boilers, chillers, compressors, HVAC, water systems, ETP/STP/ZLD
  
• Lead and mentor engineering teams; oversee manpower planning, skill development, and performance management
  
• Coordinate with QA, Production, Regulatory, and external agencies (PCB, CPCB, CGWA, SEB)
  
• Manage vendors, AMC contracts, spare parts inventory, and cost optimization initiatives
  
• Drive energy conservation, cost saving, and continuous improvement projects
  
• Ensure uninterrupted utilities and engineering support to meet production targets
