Key Qualifications
Automation Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in TCL scripting for complex functional and automated system testing.
Networking Depth: Extensive experience with L2 (Ethernet Switching), L3 (TCP/IP), and advanced routing protocols.
Traffic Engineering: Hands-on expertise in utilizing high-density traffic generation tools such as IXIA or Spirent.
Low-Level Debugging: Strong C/C++ debugging skills to analyze SDK-level issues and hardware-software interfaces.
System Environment: A proven track record as a networking product validator within large-scale, complex system environments.
Lifecycle Ownership: Experience managing the end-to-end validation cycle, including requirements decomposition, Test plan creation, Test coding with TCL language and the integration of automated suites into global regression repositories.
Modern Toolchain: Advanced working knowledge of GIT/GERRIT and JIRA for version control and lifecycle management.
Leadership: Highly motivated self-starter with a proven ability to use initiative, drive architectural decisions, and create strategic direction.

Role Description
The Engineer possesses exhaustive knowledge of the internal operations of Ethernet switching/Routing, ACLs and Traffic management. You will be responsible for configuring complex systems under test (SUT), managing interoperating switches/routers with traffic generators, and analyzing deep-packet traces to validate protocol integrity.
You will lead the design of manual and automated traffic testing on next-generation devices, working closely with QA Management and SDK Development teams. As an lead, you will own the validation strategy for major programs, providing mentorship to junior engineers and resolving diverse, large-scope technical challenges through creative, systemic solutions.
