Job Description

Location - Technology Centre, Bengaluru

Educational Qualification -

• Bachelors degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certifications or portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design tools and methodologies.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications.
• Prior experience in designing secure digital platforms or government applications is preferred.

Primary Skills:

• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision.
• Strong fundamentals in visual design, typography, color theory, and responsive layouts.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and mobile-first design.

Secondary Skills:

• Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to communicate with developers.
• Analytical skills to interpret user data and behavior.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.

Job Profile

• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes based on user requirements.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
• Develop design guidelines and best practices tailored for Aadhaar Sandbox use cases.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and quality implementation.
• Maintain consistency with UIDAI branding, accessibility, and compliance requirements.
