Job Title: Sr.DevOps Engineer

Job Designation: Senior Software Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring & Observability Setup: Configure and maintain Datadog dashboards, alerts, logs, and APM to provide end-to-end visibility across applications, infrastructure, and microservices.
• Integration & Automation: Integrate Datadog with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, and leverage IaC tools (Terraform/Ansible) for automated monitoring configuration.
• Performance & Incident Response: Monitor key metrics, optimize system performance, and deliver actionable insights during incidents to improve system reliability and reduce MTTR.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions

Author and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments

Optimize Azure-hosted development and scaling environments

Integrate Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry for observability

Automate cluster scaling, load balancing, and resource tuning

Troubleshoot toolchain and process issues to resolution

Evaluate, recommend, and pilot new DevOps technologies

Candidate Profile:

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications -

• Proven experience in Datadog.
• 5+ years in DevOps or site reliability engineering 
• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm (stateful apps) 
• Expert with CI/CD toolsJenkins or GitHub Actions 
• Public cloud experience (Azure preferred) 
• Observability: Prometheus metrics, Grafana dashboards, OpenTelemetry 
• Shell scripting in Bash; Git version control expertise 

Good-to-Have Skills and Qualifications -

• Backup/recovery for PostgreSQL and MinIO 
• Securing Kubernetes via network policies and RBAC 
• Familiarity with WildFly, Zookeeper/Kafka, OpenSearch 
• Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), Jira, Confluence
