Your Role
As an AEM UI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing user interfaces within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, backend developers, content authors, and product teams to deliver seamless, performant, and scalable digital experiences.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Developing responsive and accessible UI components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks within the AEM platform.
- Creating and customizing AEM components, templates, client libraries, and frontend integrations.
- Implementing AEM Sightly/HTL, JavaScript frameworks, and CSS methodologies to build high-quality digital interfaces.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate UX/UI designs into functional components.
- Optimizing UI performance and ensuring best practices for SEO, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
- Troubleshooting UI/AEM-related issues and supporting deployments across environments.
- Maintaining design consistency through reusable components and style guides.
Your Profile
You are a hands-on, detail-oriented developer with strong expertise in crafting UI components for enterprise-scale AEM implementations. You understand both the creative and technical aspects of front-end development and excel in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Top 5 Technical Skills
- Advanced HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), JavaScript (ES6+)
Strong ability to build responsive, cross-browser, and mobile-first UIs.
- AEM Component Development (HTL/Sightly, ClientLibs)
Hands-on experience creating and customizing AEM UI components and templates.
- Modern JavaScript Frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
Ability to integrate or leverage modern frameworks in AEMs front-end layer.
- Version Control & Build Tools
Experience with Git, Webpack, Node.js, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Accessibility & Performance Optimization
Practical understanding of WCAG standards, Lighthouse audits, and code optimization strategies.
