Job Description
- Full-cycle accounting for commercial properties
- Month-end close, journal entries, and financial statements
- Lease accounting including rent, CAM, recoveries, and straight-line rent
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- AP/AR review and coordination with property managers
- Budget support, variance analysis, and audit assistance
- Must have Yardi experience - non-negotiable.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Must have CPA/CA/MBA degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
- 6+ years of total experience in RTR, GL profile. Strong accounting knowledge.
- 3+ years of experience as property accountant (Commercial Accounting is must), preferably in the real estate or property management sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of real estate accounting principles and regulations is must.
