Job Description

    The Insurance Sales Manager Banca (HNI Segment) is responsible for managing and growing High Net Worth Individual (HNI) life insurance business through HSBC Bank branches. The role focuses on relationship management, wealth-led selling, premium growth, and customer retention while delivering a superior experience to affluent clients and ensuring compliance with regulatory and bank standards. Key Responsibilities HNI Relationship Management Manage and grow life insurance business from HNI and affluent customers of HSBC Bank Build long-term relationships with HSBC Relationship Managers, Wealth Managers, and Branch Heads Conduct joint customer meetings and provide customized life insurance solutions Business Development & Sales Drive high-ticket premium business through need-based selling Identify opportunities for wealth protection, succession planning, and retirement solutions Achieve assigned premium, revenue, and productivity targets Customer Engagement & Service Deliver end-to-end support to HNI customers from proposal to policy issuance Handle escalations and ensure high service standards and customer satisfaction Ensure strong persistency and repeat business Compliance, Process & MIS Ensure strict adherence to IRDAI regulations, bank guidelines, and internal policies Maintain accurate MIS, sales pipeline, and customer documentation Monitor business quality, case turnaround time, and service metrics Market Intelligence & Strategy Track market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences Provide insights and feedback to leadership for business strategy improvement Desired Skills & Competencies Strong experience in HNI / Affluent customer handling Excellent relationship management and wealth-selling skills Ability to close large-ticket life insurance cases Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities High level of professionalism and compliance orientation Eligibility Criteria Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM preferred) 712 years of experience in Life Insurance / Bancassurance / Wealth Management Proven experience in HNI or Elite customer segment Experience working with HSBC Bank or similar private/foreign banks is an advantage
