Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Business Development & Admission Counsellor who will be responsible for engaging prospective learners, understanding their career goals, and guiding them toward the right academic or upskilling programs. The role combines inside sales, career counselling, and business development, with a strong focus on lead conversion and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling & Engagement
- Counsel prospective students and working professionals about available UG, PG, and professional upskilling programs
- Understand learners career goals and recommend suitable courses/programs
- Guide candidates through the complete admission/enrolment process
- Handle queries via calls, chats, and online platforms
- Maintain regular follow-ups with interested candidates to drive conversions
Business Development & Sales
- Reach out to fresh leads and existing prospects to generate admissions
- Qualify prospects based on their career aspirations and program fit
- Drive revenue by converting leads into successful enrolments
- Consistently achieve and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales targets
- Build strong relationships with prospects to ensure trust and long-term engagement
Lead Management & Operations
- Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM
- Track daily performance metrics and report progress to the team lead
- Collect feedback from prospective learners to improve counselling effectiveness
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding of enrolled students

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have Bachelors degree in any stream
- 16 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or education counselling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities
- Target-driven mindset with a passion for sales
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools / lead management systems
- Good-to-Have Experience in EdTech, higher education, or online program sales
- Experience handling high-value course/program ticket sizes
- Familiarity with tech or professional upskilling programs
- Ability to understand career pathways in tech or professional domains
