Role: Engineering Center Coordinator
Job Location: Gurgaon
Qualification: M.E / M. Tech (Preferably in Mechanical Engineering)
Experience: 5 -10 years
Type of Employment: Fixed Term for minimum 1 year period
Job Responsibilities:
The Engineering Center Coordinator (ECC) has the mission to facilitate seamless collaboration between teams based in Europe and India
This role is pivotal in aligning common efforts, ensuring efficient communication, and supporting the execution of engineering projects across multiple energy domains, with a primary focus on Renewable Energies, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Thermal and Decarbonization, Gas (conventional and green).
Specific Responsibilities:
- Act as the central point of contact between engineering teams in Europe and India, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment.
- Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to support efficient and predictable execution.
- Facilitate regular coordination meetings, ensuring clear communication, documented outcomes, and timely follow-up on action items.
- Support knowledge sharing and dissemination of best practices across engineering teams and locations.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identifying risks, delays, or bottlenecks, and escalate issues when required.
- Support alignment of engineering processes, tools, and ways of working across geographies.
- Drive change management and cultural integration to ensure smooth adoption and effective functioning of the Engineering Center.
- Monitor compliance with agreed collaboration principles, processes, and tools between Europe and India, including:
- Task order usage
- Quality control
- Workload management
- Time booking
- Recruitment and competence management
- Reporting and document management
- Coordinate with key stakeholders in Tractebels European teams to identify and address critical underload and overload situations within the Engineering Center.
- Promote knowledge development and competence building, fostering collaboration between Tractebels India Engineering Center, and other Tractebel business areas in Europe.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in regular coordination meetings between the Engineering Center in India and Tractebels other European entities.
