Job Title: Back Office Operations Analyst - OTC Derivatives
Location: Hyderabad
Shift: EMEA Shift
Experience: 2-7+ years
Role Summary: This role manages the end-to-end post-trade processing, lifecycle management, and settlement of OTC derivatives (Swaps, Options, Forwards, etc.). You will act as a critical control point between the Front Office, Risk, Legal, and external counterparties, ensuring all transactions are accurately confirmed, valued, and settled in compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Capture & Confirmation: Validate trade details and affirm confirmations via MarkitWire, DTCC, or Acadia; resolve trade breaks.
Lifecycle Management: Process resets, rate fixings, novations, amendments, compressions, and maturities.
Settlement & Cash Management: Calculate cash flows and ensure timely settlement via SWIFT/CLS; resolve funding discrepancies.
Valuation & Reconciliation: Reconcile daily valuations and investigate P&L differences caused by curves or volatility.
Collateral & Margining: Support variation/initial margin processes and reconcile margin calls.
Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and CFTC requirements.
Products Covered: Interest Rate Swaps, FX Forwards/Swaps/NDFs, Equity Swaps/Options, CDS, and Structured Products.
Systems & Tools:
Platforms: Calypso, Murex, Summit, FIS, MarkitWire, DTCC
Reconciliation: Acadia, TriOptima, Duco
Data/Msg: Bloomberg, SWIFT, CLS, Excel, SQL/Python
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
2 -7 years of experience in OTC Derivatives Operations, Trade Support, or Middle Office.
Strong understanding of derivative instruments, cash flows, and CSA/margining.
