Job Description

Requirement: Lead Designer (Bridge Design Specialist)

Project Location: East Central Railway (ECR), Patna

Educational Qualification

Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering
Masters Degree in Structural Engineering

Experience

Minimum 8 years of professional experience in the design of buildings and bridges
Out of the above, at least 4 years of experience in design of Railway Bridges
Candidates with 15+ years of experience in bridge design will be preferred

Software Proficiency

Proficiency in handling at least one widely used structural analysis and design software, such as:
- STAAD Pro
- MIDAS Civil
- SAP
- Other equivalent bridge design software

Railway Experience (Alternative Eligibility)

Retired Railway officials with more than 10 years of experience in design and drawing of Railway Civil Engineering structures, having worked in the capacity of:
- AEN / XEN / Dy. CE (Design)
Experience as CE (Design) in Indian Railways or equivalent grade in:
- Konkan Railway
- IRCON
- IRVNL
- IMRVC
- DFCCIL
- Any associated JV / SPV in the Civil Engineering Department
